Nika Mušič completed a BA in Slovenian Studies and Comparative Literature at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (2013), one semester studying and researching for her bachelor thesis as an Erasmus exchange student at Department of Slavonic Studies at University of Vienna, and then obtained a MA in Comparative Literature at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (2016). Her master thesis examines the narrative in fiction and film, with theoretical focus on cognitive approaches of postclassical narratology and application of their concepts on specific cases of film narrative, i.e. Lars von Trier’s films. Beside Narratology and Literary Theory, her main areas of interest are Film Studies, Feminist Film Theory, Theoretical Psychoanalysis, Existentialism and Editing. She worked for the She Thought It database within the Intersexualities project as an intern at the Institute for Comparative Literature Margarida Losa.
